The Music City Chorus was chartered as the Nashville, TN Chapter of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. (Barbershop Harmony Society) on June 2, 1948. The chorus had its first meeting in May of 1948 at the WSM Radio Station on 7th Ave N. in Nashville, TN.
